Monster High

Titolo: Monster High
Autrice: Lisi Harrison
Pagine: 256
Prezzo: € 12,00

Questa volta no e me ne compiaccio.

INGLESE

Title: Monster High
Author: Lis Harrison
Cost: € 12,00
Pages: 256
Plot: A new school year has just begun at Merston High School in Salem, Oregon. Frankie Stein prowls the corridors shy and a bit bewildered. Don't know anyone in that high school, and even in that city. And, for that matter, how could it? Was born just 15 days earlier by an experiment in the lab, just like his famous "Daddy" Frankenstein ". For this reason Frankie feels somewhat sidelined compared to his teammates. That injustice, though. Beautiful and so is fashion that deserves to be the most popular girl in school: how will ever settle between all those people so ...  Frighteningly normal?! Soon, though, Frankie realizes not to be the only "other". Because at Merston High sons of "famous monsters" are everywhere and they hide among humans, just like her. Glad I finally found friends-stra-Draculaura, Clawdeen Wolf, trendy and Cleo de Nile-Frankie is ready to live with them a (nearly) perfect life as a teenager. At least until the day he falls madly in love with Jackson, his son Dr. hichcock Jekyll, and is forced to struggle with the ordinary – and, in his opinion trivial-Melody Carver to conquer it. Will there be enough space to Merston High for monsters and humans?

Rewiev: Monster High is a children's book, there is no doubt. As each book dedicated to them, in the game there is always the risk of transmitting a message wrong and give life to so frivolous and totally dangerous ideas. This time no and I am delighted. This story is written in a light but also has a huge force, which is transmitted to anyone who reads it. Diversity is not a bad thing. In a country that has a mystical force so high, is woven a history of problems and change, acceptance, love and friendship that goes beyond the skin color ... or of the canines ... or the seams ... or hair. ...
A fully recommended book. Sin is a sin and that saga in Italy have been translated only the first and second .... We hope to move to others!!
